Tyler Zacharia completed his undergraduate education at Georgetown University, studying international politics and military security. After graduating, he travelled to Beijing to study Chinese and was hired by the investment firm Schulze Global Investments. He spent eight years living in Beijing, where he served as vice president of Schulze Global Investments, a private-equity firm focused on emerging markets.
