Can I actually make money with AI without a tech background?

The mistake is treating this as a technical qualification problem. It is a problem-selection problem.

People pay for outcomes in a domain. If you know an industry well enough to name the three tasks that waste the most time in it, you have something a technically stronger person without that context does not.

Pick one of those three, automate part of it, and charge someone for the result. Start narrow enough to be finished in a fortnight.
