Who was on the US China dinner list?
The White House released the full guest list for President Donald Trump's state dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and it reads like a who's who of American power: top cabinet officials, half of Silicon Valley's CEOs, Wall Street's biggest names, and three Supreme Court justices.

The dinner was hosted by President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan.
The American government side
Senior officials included Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, along with U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Also at the table were Attorney General Todd Blanche, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, and Education Secretary Linda McMahon.
Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, and Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Supreme Court attended, as did Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.
Trump's family was present too: Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump all attended, along with Viktor Knavs, Melania's father.
The Chinese delegation
On the Chinese side, Cai Qi, chief of staff to Xi, Wang Yi, a member of the Communist Party's Politburo, and He Lifeng, China's vice premier, were among the senior officials present. Also seated were Zheng Shanjie, chairman of China's National Development and Reform Commission, and Wang Wentao, China's minister of commerce.
