What songs did Beoga co-write with Ed Sheeran?

The first two are on Sheeran's 2017 album ÷ (pronounced "Divide"). Both "Galway Girl" and "Nancy Mulligan" were collaborations with Beoga on that record. "Galway Girl" alone has been streamed over 1.4 billion times on Spotify.

Sheeran wrote and recorded "Galway Girl" with Beoga, and the song incorporates a tune called "Minute 5" from their 2011 album How to Tune a Fish. They decided to write it after finishing another song together at his house and finding they had some spare time.

The writing credits on "Galway Girl" tell you exactly how collaborative it was. All five Beoga members, Damian McKee, Eamon Murray, Liam Bradley, Niamh Dunne and Seán Óg Graham, are listed as songwriters alongside Sheeran, Amy Wadge, Foy Vance and Johnny McDaid.

The third song, which came later

"Matthew's Daughter" is a Beoga track rather than a Sheeran one, and the direction of the favour reversed. Beoga handled the songwriting and composition alongside Sheeran and Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol. The track was written by Beoga, Sheeran and McDaid, and produced by Jonny Coffer. Beoga described it as being about "being thankful and acknowledging your loved ones and where they come from." Country singer Devin Dawson sang lead on it.

So across the whole collaboration: two songs that made Sheeran's album and one that made theirs, with the same core group of writers in the room each time.
